Days of Awe 5782 Sacred Spaces and Ritual Guides

Nishmat Shoom is not offering Days of Awe services this year, however we are excited to offer Sacred Spaces, ritual guides, and care packages again.

Sacred Spaces will be located round the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts, so that you and your loved ones can visit throughout the month of September. Below, you can find our compilation of ritual guides and playlists from past years, which you may find helpful as you observe the Days of Awe 5782.

Sacred Spaces

Sacred Spaces Information
Sacred Spaces are outdoor sites decorated by local artists and set up and maintained by the Nishmat Shoom community. This year, we have four of these spaces. Each one is based around one of four themes:

  • KADDISH- grief/mourning ( Greenfield)
  • T’SHUVAH-collective transformation/transformative justice (Easthampton)
  • TZEDAKAH- reparations/redistribution/collective care (Northampton)
  • T’FILAH- cultivating Divine-connection/ prayer (Amherst)
